Pipestone Intensive

Hello Dear Friend.

I am SO very excited to invite you to accompany me on a Spirited Adventure to Pipestone Minnesota. June 18-22, 2023.

You’ll find information and a detailed brochure for download at: www.crystalweavers.com/Events/PipestoneIntensive2023

Perspective

So often I find myself in amazing places experiencing profound occurrences with no way to truly capture the energy of the moment in order to share it with you. It’s oftentimes frustrating to try to be IN the experience AND try to figure out how to video all that is happening in an attempt to tell you about it. Most of the time, what I had captured on video or pictures falls way short of the actual experience. Alas, I do my best to tell in hindsight the story of the Spirited Adventure that I’d had.

This is why I am SO excited to have you join me in Pipestone. We can have the Spirited Adventure REAL TIME, together!

Last August I visited Pipestone, Minnesota. There were so many amazing places that I visited, and again blogs, videos, and pictures fall short of describing all that occurred. I did the August (2022) Last Quarter Moon Ceremony (published on YouTube) at Touch the Sky Prairie, and my heart yearned to bring people there to experience that magical place. During the Intensive, we will be spending an afternoon there.

Your Spiritual Path

A huge part of this Intensive is looking deeply into your own Spiritual path.

Immersing into the Native American traditions surrounding the peace pipe and the soft clay rock that is quarried in this area. Taking a look at the tradition of ceremony and my perspective of the Crystal Paradigms. And then allowing time for you to examine your own Spiritual path to see how these other traditions fit, enhance, overlap, or deepen who you are at your core.

This process is called Global Shamanism. During the intensive, we are dedicating much time to this process because we each have our own path and our own practices. And, honoring our individualism is critical. Embracing the traditions, both old and new. Expanding your consciousness and awareness of all the options. Discerning how it fits with your own perspectives. And leaving with a deeper understanding of who you are as an individual. This is the intention of the Intensive.

Ley Lines and Summer Solstice

There are at least 5 ley lines that cross through this area of our globe. Ley lines are Mother Earths’ energy grid — like her skeletal structure. Some are aligned with the traveling of other star systems. While some are aligned with our sun’s significant events; the equinoxes and solstices.

Again, amazing energetic experiences occur when sitting on a ley line when the sun rises or sets on the ley line that is in alignment! And, I am excited to have you experience this: Summer Solstice June 21, 2023.

Peace Pipe ~ Chanupa

The Pipestone Minnesota area has been a sacred area for Indigenous Peoples for thousands of generations. They would travel from distant areas to quarry the special, soft clay that is easily carved into pipes and withstands the heat of the burning tobacco or Kinnikinnick. These pipes have been found in distant areas like Ohio, Nebraska, and upper Canada. And the pipe that White Buffalo Calf Woman gifted to the Native Peoples was a Pipestone Peace Pipe.

At Pipestone National Monument, we will be visiting these ancient quarries that are still used today. We will be spending a day at a Tribal non-profit called Pipe Keepers where we will learn about the traditions of the area. We will also be carving our own pipe, called chanupa. Whether you decide to work with your pipe ceremonially or as ornament, you will learn the traditions of doing so honorably and respectfully.

Conclusion

I encourage you take a moment to sink internal and sense whether this Pipestone Intensive is for you. Does your heart desire this experience?

Please reach out with any questions.

I truly am excited to finally share my Spirited Adventure in person with you.

Love, Lila
